Ashe, North Carolina is the home of George Vanderbilt Biltmore House and Gardens, a nice big house on 8000 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds. Built in 1895, 250 room property is the largest private house in the United States certainly explain why the regions most popular tourist attraction.
In six years after 1000 raised the 175 000 sq ft home with employees. They include 65 fireplaces, three kitchens, a ballroom, a lagoon and functional winery plans. There is no shortage of things to see, is certainly enough time to book your tour to be placed into all open to visitors at the house and 365 days a year.

Design stunning space by Frederick Law Olmstead, who is best known for designing other famous “backyard”: New York’s Central Park. This is not a typical piece of grass, but only if your lawn reflecting ponds, a walled garden, a Conservatory, a bass pond and many trails and routes.
Biltmore Estate Winery tours offer its own development the most popular wine grape in the South do. They offer wine tasting classes and cooking demonstrations, food and love the Bistro Restaurant.
For history buffs, see the Farm Village, Biltmore’s farm implement. More than 100 years old, Village Farm is a great place for children to get up close to the horses, cows, chickens and sheep and watching blacksmiths and woodworkers in action.
